10 Razones porque los Bancos centrales no se adaptaran a las Criptomonedas
Ante la inminente revolución que se avecina en el sistema financiero internacional a causa de las criptomonedas, los bancos tienen dos alternativas: adaptarse o morir.
Sin embargo, como todo sistema obsoleto, los cambios que tendrían que hacer los bancos para poder adaptarse a estos nuevos cambios son tan drásticos, lo cual pone en duda que puedan sobrevivir a esta revolución, o por lo menos los bancos tal como lo conocemos hoy día.
A continuación diez razones por las cuales no podrían sobrevivir:
1 - Mano de obra del pasado: las nuevas tecnologías requieren personal con conocimientos totalmente nuevos.
2 - Lenta toma de decisiones: la burocracia no funciona con nuevas tecnologías.
3 - Poco innovadores y tecnológicos: en los bancos abundan los académicos y para esta revolución se necesitan expertos en tecnologías innovadoras.
4 - Miedo a experimentar: Llevan años haciendo lo mismo y el miedo a perder reputación ante un error es muy fuerte.
5 - Pensamiento territorial: los bancos funcionan por departamentos, lo cual hace difícil el flujo de información. Las empresas tecnológicas deben tener estructuras flexibles.
6 - Enfoque comprar vs construir: los bancos tendrían que comprar tecnología ya que no tienen infraestructura para construir.
7 - Aversión al cambio: Llevan tantos años haciendo lo mismo que cualquier cambio en vez de ser una oportunidad, lo ven como una amenaza.
8 - Relaciones establecidas: los actores actuales han invertido tanto dinero en licencias que es muy difícil que dejen entrar nuevos participantes.
9 - Coordinación instituciones gubernamentales: intervienen tantas instituciones que para que aprueben algo tienen que pasar por muchas manos y meses.
10 - Coordinación internacional: Al igual que el anterior, tienen que pasar por procesos diplomáticos complejos y agendas discordantes, lo cual no es compatible con la velocidad de los cambios tecnológicos.
