Desde que tengo memoria me han acompañado las enseñanzas y misterios de la ingeniería genética, esto inició incluso desde antes de nacer al mundo, al irse desarrollando mis sentidos me las fueron inculcando. Mis genitores me dieron por primer juguete un peluche de aquella mítica oveja Dolly, a quien guardé toda mi vida como tesoro. No sólo fueron ellos quienes se encargaron de mi diseño, sino que dispusieron que, como ellos, también me convertiría en ingeniero. He vivido mi vida entera en laboratorios en donde me han estudiado a mí y yo también he aprendido a experimentar con los complejos diseños de la vida, organismos realmente fantásticos han pasado por mis manos. Aunque comencé a especializarme en el área poblacional como mis padres, el Estatuto determinó que mis habilidades encajaban mejor en un área mucho más sensible, la de bio-seguridad.

I have as my first memories the lessons and mysteries of genetic engineering, this began even before I was born into the world, as my senses developed, they were instilled in me. My genitors gave me as my first toy a stuffed Dolly sheep, whom I kept all my life as a treasure. El cuerpo humano no sería lo que es hoy, incluyendo al tuyo, si no fuera por los esfuerzos del Estatuto a escala global que lograron salvar a este planeta del colapso. Pero aunque con muchos sacrificios se logró la armonía, seguían existiendo agentes que amenazaban el correcto rumbo de nuestras sociedades. Hubo un tiempo en el que los bio-hackers atentaban contra la salud atacando con armas epidemiológicas. No existe ahora ningún gen que posiblemente pudiera afectar al cuerpo humano. Sin embargo las organizaciones criminales encontraron algo más peligroso con lo que lucrar y lograron poner sus manos sobre la gema largamente pulida por los ingenieros genéticos del Estatuto, la cual fue la pieza clave que hizo que cada poblador de esta civilización estuviera en el lugar y durante el tiempo que le había sido asignado.

The human body would not be what it's today, including yours, if it were not for the efforts of the Statute on a world scale that managed to save this planet from collapse. But although harmony was achieved with many sacrifices, there were still agents that threatened the correct course of our societies. There was a time when bio-hackers menaced global health by attacking with epidemiological weapons. There is now no gene that could possibly affect the human body. However, criminal organizations found something more dangerous to profit from and managed to get their hands on the long polished gem by the genetic engineers of the Statute, which was the key piece that made every inhabitant of this civilization be in place and during the time that had been assigned.

El código de longevidad era la parte de la información genética en que se imprimían los detalles del registro social, de la conformación psico-ideológica así como de los procesos financiero y legal de cada persona, de los cuales dependía en gran medida el algoritmo de longevidad potencial. El ser humano que hasta este entonces había alcanzado la mayor longevidad potencial, vivió durante 195 años. Aunque cada categoría humana tiene una media de vida programada, solamente el Estatuto podía determinar un aumento de categoría en virtud de los méritos o bien de los créditos de cada persona. The longevity code was the part of the genetic information in which the details of the social registry, of the psycho-ideological conformation as well as of the financial and legal processes of each person were printed, on which the longevity algorithm mostly depended. The human being who until then had reached the greatest potential longevity, lived for 195 years. Although each human category has a programmed average life, only the Statute could determine an increase in category by virtue of the merits or credits of each person. Pero eso fue hasta la introducción del Cryog, la cual es, tengo que aceptarlo, una de las drogas más ingeniosas que ha diseñado el género humano en toda su historia. Esta información nunca fue oficial y mucho menos pública. Resultó que este compuesto meca-químico no sólo inhibió el mayor logro de la genética humana, el código de longevidad, logrando retrasar drásticamente el ritmo de envejecimiento asignado de quien lo consumía, sino que era capaz también de engañar cualquier escaneo fisio-genético inventado hasta ese momento, utilizando una nano-partícula programada para ofrecer lecturas que no levantaban ninguna sospecha, autenticando a los intoxicados en cualquier situación o lugar. El Cryog pasó, sin que nos diéramos cuenta cómo o cuándo, de ser la droga más peligrosa en los laboratorios clandestinos a la más lucrativa para los grupos criminales para terminar convirtiéndose en el arma principal de la Neo-Revolución en contra del Estatuto.

The Cryog passed, without us realizing how or when, from being the most dangerous drug in clandestine laboratories to the most lucrative for criminal groups to end up becoming the main weapon of the Neo-Revolution against the Statute.
