Buenas Tardes mundo! Hoy quiero enseñarles una escultura hecha por mi, a la cual llamo: "Smoker Monk" o en español "El monje fumador". fue moldeada con arcilla y luego vaciada en resina, permitiendo esa apariencia brillante

Pero... ¿Por qué fumador?

Porque de hecho fuma!. La escultura en realidad es hueca por dentro, y posee aberturas en la nariz y la boca, lo que permite que al colocarle incienso por debajo, el humo sea expulsado por estas aberturas, haciendo parecer que realmente fuma.

Y... ¿Porque un monje?

Esta escultura tuvo origen en mis gustos por la cultura oriental (en este caso pensando en un monje budista). La idea surgió en una tarde de aburrimiento mientras estaba en una de mis clases, ¡pero realmente surgió fue como un dibujo!. Tenia una hoja, un bolígrafo, y así se generó este concepto que aquí les traigo en este dibujo.

Bueno, ¿Y ese color?

Una de las cosas que siempre me han atraído sobre la cultura de los monjes budistas es su gran sabiduría, adquirida mediante años y años de meditación. Pues bien, utilice el color que representa la sabiduría, el amarillo mostaza, y lo coloqué en mi obra.

Good afternoon world! Today I want to show you a sculpture made by me, which I call: "Smoker Monk" or in Spanish "El monje fumador". It was molded with clay and then cast in resin, allowing that bright appearance

But ... Why smoker?

Because he actually smokes !. The sculpture is actually hollow inside, and has openings in the nose and mouth, which allows that by placing incense underneath, the smoke is expelled through these openings, making it look like it really smokes.

And ... Why a monk?

This sculpture originated in my like for oriental culture (in this case thinking of a Buddhist monk). The idea came up in an afternoon of boredom while I was in one of my classes, but it really came up as a drawing! I had a sheet, a pen, and thats how the concept that I bring here in this drawing was borned.

Well, what about that color?

One of the things that have always attracted me about the culture of Buddhist monks is their great wisdom, acquired through years and years of meditation. Well, use the color that represents wisdom, mustard yellow, and I put it in my work.
