Virgen Primorosa, Patrona de Oriente
Hoy yo te canto con todo el corazón.
Eres cual lirio y perfume de cayena
Y de mi prosa la dulce inspiración.
Te llevo siempre en mi pensamiento,
Por ser la diosa y madre marinera.
Y el fervor sublime que yo siento,
Porque conmigo tu estas en donde quiera.
Tu me das el aliento y el consuelo.
También me das esperanza y alegría.
Mi virgen bella por ti mi desvelo.
Y hasta en mi sueño te llevo cada día.
De todo Oriente tu eres la patrona,
En donde tu belleza se diseña.
Tu bendición el pueblo la pregona
Con devoción y fe Margariteña
