Vivo en una pequeña ciudad del mundo llamada Barquisimeto. Aquí hay muchos lugares turísticos para visitar. Una de las estructuras más populares aqui en la capital es el Obelisco. Es una gran torre rectangular con 75 mestros de altura con un reloj en su tope.
Su creación data en el año 1952. Construida en concreto y acero... Cualquiera puede entrar y encontrarse con un ascensor que te lleva a lo más alto donde puedes ver la ciudad desde las ventanas del tope.
CURIOSIDAD: Fue construido por una MUJER llamada Maria José Jiménez Velásquez, una gran ingeniera de la época.

I live in a small city called Barquisimeto. Capital of Lara's State in Venezuela. There are many touristic places to go. One of the most popular structure here at Barquisimeto is "El Obelisco". It's a big rectangular tower with 75 meters tall with a clock at the top.
Its creation is dated in 1952. It's build in concrete and iron... Anyone can go inside this tower where it's an elevator that takes you at the top of it so you can see the entire city trough those windows above the structure.
FACT: It was built and directed by a WOMAN named Maria José Jiménez Vásquez. A great Engineer at that time.
¿Por qué lo hice? Bueno... Porque dejaré esta ciudad. No sé cómo ni tampoco cuando. Solamente es algo que debo hacer y me he estado sintiendo algo nostalgico. Además, queria representar el lugar donde nací en algun arte.
Why have I done this? Well.. It's because I'll leave this city. I don't know how and when. It's just something I have to do and I've been feeling kind of nostalgic. Also I wanted to represent where I'm from.
