De visita en Chalma (Visiting Chalma)

El dia de hoy sali de paseo con mi hermosa madre y con una amiga, al pueblo de Chalma, el cual es conocido por ser un centro de peregrinaje religioso, donde se venera al Señor de Chalma.

Today I went out with my beautiful mother and a friend to the town of Chalma, which is known as a center of religious pilgrimage, where the Lord of Chalma is venerated.

Para llegar a la iglesia, pasamos por muchos puestos donde venden muchos dulces típicos de Mexico, así como juguetes hechos a mano (de madera) y gran variedad de artesanía religiosa. Como es debido, escuchamos una hora y media de misa y recibimos la bendición del sacerdote.

To get to the church, we go through many stalls where they sell many sweets typical of Mexico, as well as handmade (wooden) toys and a variety of religious crafts. As it should, we heard an hour and a half of mass and received the blessing of the priest.

En Chalma, se pueden hacer varias actividades, como tomarse la foto de recuerdo, bajar al rio a nadar en familia o bien, disfrutar de sus bellos paisajes.

In Chalma, you can do various activities, such as taking the souvenir photo, go down to the river to swim with your family or enjoy the beautiful scenery.

Es muy bonito visitar este lugar, pero cuando se disfruta más es en diciembre, ya que se hace una gran fiesta y van muchas peregrinaciones de varios pueblos del Estado de Mexico.

It is very nice to visit this place, but when it is enjoyed more is in December, since it is a great holiday and many pilgrimages go from various towns in the State of Mexico.

Esta foto me la compartio un amigo que estuvo en la fiesta en el mes de mayo y es un claro ejemplo de la gran fe que tenemos nosotros los mexicanos. En donde vivo, la peregrinación sale en diciembre y se hacen dos días caminando para llegar a este lugar, con mucho gusto les compartiré todo lo que pasa en ese recorrido.

This photo was shared by a friend who was at the party in May and is a clear example of the great faith that we Mexicans have. Where I live, the pilgrimage leaves in December and two days are spent walking to reach this place, I will gladly share everything that happens in that journey.
