Buenos Aires, mon amour

There is a legend about the ship of Theseus, if you change everything in a building or an object, is the "restored" building still the same? Well, I ask myself the same looking at the Cabildo of Buenos Aires, this building suffered so many changes and restorations that if you want to know how it was originally you have to go to La Punta in San Luis, where they built a copy of the original plan and even more, a copy of the pyramid of May and La Recova, a building that occupied the place in wich is located today the Pink House.
This square is one of my favorites places of Buenos Aires city, from joy to tears, this place have so much energy from the past, present and future, in other words, so much history concentrated in one place.

Hay una leyenda acerca del barco de Teseo, sí uno cambia todas las piezas de un edificio u objeto, ¿es el edificio restaurado el mismo? Bueno, yo me pregunto lo mismo observando al Cabildo de Buenos Aires, este edificio sufrió tantas modificaciones y reconstrucciones que sí uno quisiera conocer como era el original debería viajar a La Punta en San Luis, en donde construyeron una replica de los planos originales junto con la piramide de Mayo, hasta La Recova, el edificio que ocupaba el lugar de la actual Casa Rosada.
Esta plaza es uno de mis lugares favoritos de la ciudad de Buenos Aires, de felicidad a lagrimas, este lugar concentra energias del pasado, presente y futuro, en otras palabras, tanta historia concentrada en un sólo lugar.
