RE: Cazuela de Flor de Izote (Yucca elephantipes), una deliciosa receta.

in #spanish6 years ago (edited)

What a wonderful post @galberto! Your yucca are much taller and more tree-like than the ones I am used to seeing. I really appreciate seeing how you cook the flowers! That looks so good -- home cooking at its best! I like that the Yucca is your national flower. That way everyone can know it, and know that it can feed them, too. That is comforting! And congratulations on introducing so many people, here in the comments, to your use of the flowers, too! Happy foraging!

Many thanks for your visit, always is great received your feedback to help others.
Best regard @galberto.

There are not so many resources for information about edible plants in your region. So all the posts that you have, showing plants and how to use them, are really valuable! There is more to know about plants than any of us will ever learn in one lifetime -- so sharing is valuable, too. Happy foraging! :D

I feel praised for your comments, the truth is that we should all share the knowledge of some books directly while others should come directly from the transmission of parents to children.
so that information is not lost.
Thank you for your beautiful comments a hug, we are still looking for food in our region.
a hug.
