Los 80. Se podría decir que con la llegada de los 80 nace toda una revolución musical y contracultural en España, más concretamente en su capital Madrid, pero que afectaría de distintas maneras al resto de la península.

Surgida durante los primeros años de la transición posfranquista converge con la despenalización de la homosexualidad y de su nacimiento como revolución sexual, la venta de anticonceptivos, el nacimiento del feminismo, el laicismo en la sociedad y el uso de las drogas (en algunos casos recreativas) que dado el desconocimiento de la sociedad provocarían la muerte de un gran cantidad de personas llegando también a grandes personalidades de la música, el cine, el teatro.

Comienzan a emerger todo tipo de eventos, programas televisivos, programas de radio,artículos en prensa, revistas... muchos de ellos con el tiempo se convertirían en señas de una época dorada y de culto.
La Movida Madrileña dejó un enorme legado cultural dado su carácter innovador, liberalizador y moderno que supo romper con el tradicionalismo de la sociedad franquista.

Con este enorme movimiento surgen modas, tendencias y sobre todo bandas musicales...Radio Futura, Alaska y Dinarama, Miguel Rios, Rosendo, Tino Casal, Nacha Pop, Hombres G y un largo etc...
Tantos años de represión durante la dictadura española dieron paso a innumerables bandas de música que habían ido germinando con la cultura juvenil europea se los 60 que llegaba a España a través del boom turístico.
