We are in Venezuela, a wonderful country, which is being hit by a strong political and economic situation that we hope will improve soon.
We just immigrated to Suriname from Ecuador. We lived in a Venezuelan/Cuban neighborhood in Quito, and everybody was so friendly. It's a shame Venezuelans have such a tough time now in Ecuador. I think they would be more welcome in Suriname, as there is people shortage here. I think the Dutch/Spanish language barrier and Guyana make it too difficult. Ecuador is more culturally similar.
