Una de las mayores firmas de capital privado de Canadá ha sido acusada de operaciones fraudulentas
Según ha informado The Wall Street Journal. Cuatro quejas han sido presentadas ante la Comisión de Valores de Ontario(el regulador de valores mas importante de Canada) contra la multimillonaria firma de inversión, Catalyst Capital Group Inc
Según las quejas presentadas, la empresa que es una de las mayores firmas de capital privado de Canadá ha sido acusada de inflar artificialmente el valor de algunos de sus activos y ha mentido a los prestatarios sobre los términos de los préstamos contraídos. La unidad de delitos financieros especiales de la policía de Toronto también está investigando a la firma.
Los representantes de la empresa han dicho que las quejas están infundadas.
Recordemos que Catalyst Capital Group Inc. supervisa 4.800 millones de dólares para clientes internacionales.
