Investigadores han descubierto que una proteina llamada Lisozima al someterla a presiones esta produce eletricidad. Esta proteina esta presente en las lagrimas de las personas, pero tambien se puede encontrar en claras de huevo de aves así como en las lágrimas, saliva y leche de mamíferos.
Es interesante ver como los investigadores cada dia descubren cosas increibles sobre nuestro cuerpo.
Es un material biológico, no es tóxico, por lo que podría tener muchas aplicaciones innovadoras, tales como revestimientos electroactivos, antimicrobianos para los implantes médicos.
