REFLEXIÓN DEL DÍA 13/09/2017 REFLECTION OF THE DAY

An old teacher was already tired of listening to his disciple's constant complaints, so he thought he should teach him something to make him reconsider.
One morning he asked her to bring him salt, and when he returned, the teacher told him to throw a handful in a glass of water and then to drink it.
"How does the water know now?" Asked the wise old man.
"Very salty," replied the disciple, looking disgusted.
Enduring the laughter the teacher told him to repeat the action, but instead of throwing the salt in a glass did it in a lake. They walked without haste to a large lake in the middle of a garden on the outskirts of their village and when the disciple fulfilled the order the venerable teacher asked him to drink.
"What does he know now?" She asked him.
To which the apprentice replied:
"This water is very fresh." He does not know anything about salt, it is a delight for the palate.
Then the master took his hands to his disciple and said:
"The pain of life is pure salt. There is always the same amount, however its taste depends on the container containing the penalty. Therefore, when the adversities of life afflict you, enlarge the sense of things. Stop being a glass and become a lake.

Un anciano maestro estaba ya cansado de escuchar las constantes quejas de su discípulo, así que pensó que debía enseñarle algo que le hiciera recapacitar.
Una mañana le pidió que le trajera sal y cuando regresó, el maestro le dijo que echara un puñado en un vaso de agua y que, a continuación se la bebiera.
—¿Cómo sabe ahora el agua? —preguntó el sabio anciano.
—Muy salada, —respondió el discípulo poniendo cara de asco.
Aguantándose la risa el maestro le indicó que repitiera la acción, pero en lugar de tirar la sal en un vaso lo hiciera en un lago. Caminaron sin prisas hacia un gran lago situado en medio de un vergel a las afueras de su aldea y cuando el discípulo cumplió la orden el venerable maestro le pidió que bebiese.
—¿A qué te sabe ahora? —le preguntó.
A lo que el aprendiz le respondió:
—Esta agua está fresquísima. No sabe nada a sal, es una delicia para el paladar.
Entonces el maestro cogiéndole las manos a su discípulo, le dijo:
—El dolor de la vida es pura sal. Siempre hay la misma cantidad, sin embargo su sabor depende del recipiente que contiene la pena. Por eso, cuando te aflijan las adversidades de la vida, agranda el sentido de las cosas. Deja de ser un vaso y conviértete
