El ave azulejo también conocido como arrocerito, azulillo, azulito norteño y colorín azul.
En mi país el nombre que más utilizamos para identificarlos es él de azulejos y azulillo.
Es un ave que por lo general habita en zonas boscosas, le gusta vivir donde hay bastante plantación y suele también volar a zonas urbanas.
Existe una diferencia entre el macho y la hembra,el ave macho su plumaje es mas azul que castaño,y el plumaje de la hembra es mas castaño que azul, ellos por lo general siempre vuelan en manadas.
Se alimenta de frutas, semillas, frutos pequeños y también de algunos insectos...

Este azulejos es macho por su color azul en las alas..lo encontré atrapado en un árbol que conócemos aqui como pega pega.todas sus alas estaban llenas de esa paga y no podía volar,lo limpie y quite la mayoría de ese pegamento y lo heche a volar nuevamente..
