Let me show you another song I heard again recently after many years: "Palomita Blanca", or Little White Dove, by the great, the hugely talented Juan Luis Guerra, a legend of Latin American music. Credits at the end of the post.

Lastly, a newer song by Mr. Guerra himself (in truth one of my favorite all-time artists). This one is more modern, more cosmopolitan (he sings about a beach in Fukuoka, Japan), but also more Christian --sort of, he became a Christian BEFORE this song. Okay God-speed to all, and I promise to post in both Spanish and English soon... (Mostly for those of you looking to learn the language).
