ESPEJISMOS (MIRRORS)
en algún punto inexplorado
donde mi corazón ya no se viste,
llegando al punto límite dado
donde mi última lágrima resiste.
En caer sobre la desembocadura
y volar cien mil pies de altura,
olvidándome de las hadas
y los cuentos de utopía.
Pensando que tienes alas
y estás hecha de dulzura
brillando a través del alba
magnificando tu hermosura.
Que me vuelve un insolente,
y me ciega la mirada,
por mirarte fijamente
con el alma enamorada.
Y aunque ignore tu existencia
yo te amo,
porque estamos enlazados
a través de nuestras manos
que jamás se han tocado.
Porque la misma línea que pinto
tú la completas desde algún sitio,
y algún día mis escritos
comprenderán por qué yo existo.

where my last tear resists.
In falling over the mouth
and fly a hundred thousand feet high,
forgetting the fairies
and the stories of utopia.
Thinking you have wings
and you are made of sweetness
shining through the dawn
magnifying your beauty.
That makes me an insolent
and I blind the look,
for staring at you
with the soul in love.
And although I ignore your existence
I love you,
because we are linked
through our hands
that have never been touched.
Because the same line I paint
you complete it from somewhere,
and someday my writings
they will understand why I exist.
