Al tercero de mis cuatro hijos, Elías Salomón, un muchacho próximo a cumplir 13 años, alegre, optimista, súper genial, con altas capacidades intelectuales y amante del fútbol —deporte que practica desde 2016—, lo ha revisado el martes 8 de Enero de 2019 un Traumatólogo especialista en miembros inferiores, pues le sobrevino un dolor muy intenso en su pierna derecha, desde la rodilla hasta el tobillo, pero más fuerte en su tibia, desde hace ya dos (2) semanas, presentando también inflamación y dificultad para caminar.
El Traumatólogo indicó la realización de una serie de estudios de imagenología: Tomografía Axial Computarizada (TAC) de la pierna derecha, y Rx Ap y lateral de ambas piernas, incluyendo rodillas y tobillos. Son seis (6) estudios en total.
Además, el médico prescribió la administración de analgésicos (Ibuprofeno o Diclofenac sódico) por espacio de una semana y la restricción de las actividades físicas hasta nuevo aviso.
Hasta el momento, hay dos (2) posibles diagnósticos, a saber: Periosteitis tibial (inflamación de la membrana que recubre el hueso) Vs Osteoma Osteoide (tumor benigno en la tibia derecha).
La situación económica en nuestro país y el acceso a medicamentos y servicios de salud están muy comprometidos, por lo cual se ha tornado muy difícil hacer frente a situaciones como las que he descrito.
Los aportes que tengan a bien destinar a mi hijo, nos permitirán realizar las evaluaciones médicas y los tratamientos necesarios. Necesitamos disponer de los fondos cuanto antes, si es posible esta misma semana, para:
- Adquirir los analgésicos.
- Pago del TAC y los Rx, de modo que el martes 15 o el jueves 17 de Enero de 2019 pueda verlos el Traumatólogo y tener un diagnóstico preciso.
- Costear los gastos de transporte (taxis domicilio-Clínicas, ida y vuelta).
- Pagar las consultas al Traumatólogo.

The third of my four children, Elías Salomón, a boy close to turning 13 years old, cheerful, optimistic, super genius, with high intellectual abilities and a lover of football —sport that he practice since 2016—, today Tuesday, January 8, 2019 has been reviewed by a Traumatologist specialist in lower limbs, because since two (2) weeks ago he suffered a very intense pain in his right leg, from the knee to the ankle, but stronger in his tibia, also presenting inflammation and difficulty walking.
The Traumatologist indicated the completion of a series of imaging studies: Computerized Axial Tomography (CAT) of the right leg, and Rx Ap and lateral of both legs, including knees and ankles. There are six (6) studies in total.
In addition, the doctor prescribed the administration of analgesics (Ibuprofen or Diclofenac sodium) for a week and the restriction of physical activities until further notice.
So far, there are two (2) possible diagnoses: Tibial periostitis (inflammation of the membrane that lines the bone) V Osteoid Osteoma (benign tumor in the right tibia).
The economic situation in our country and the access to medicines and health services are very difficult; face circumstances like one I have described is complicated for my family.
The contributions with which you can help my son will allow us to carry out the medical evaluations and the necessary treatments. We need to dispose of the funds as soon as possible, preferably this week, for:
1. Acquire analgesics.
2. Payment of the TAC and the Rx, so that on Tuesday 15 or Thursday January 17, 2019, the Traumatologist can see these and have an accurate diagnosis.
3. Transport charges (taxi home-Clinics, round trip).
4. Pay the consultations to the Traumatologist.
