Un poquitín de Fe y compromiso | A little bit of Faith and commitment.

Hola steemies.
Deseo compartir con ustedes ciertos logros que, modestamente considero, he tenido en el lapso de un año.
En Marzo del año pasado (2016), me dispuse a hacer un huerto familiar.
Pensaba que a veces se pierde el tiempo, pasan los días y la rutina te cansa. Entonces, emprendí mi proyecto.
En una porción de tierra ociosa, fijé mis aspiraciones.
Luego de preparar un compost, arreglé la tierra y construí mi parcela. Con troncos de matas de dátil. Confieso que sentí que moría deshidratada, pues el calor el año pasado fue excesivo.

Pero no desmayé en mis propósitos. Me leí unos tutoriales en internet y lo demás, fue mucha Fe.
Así que comencé a recolectar el agua que desperdician los aires acondicionados, de mi casa y de vecinos. Hice colectores con botellones de agua potable, para poder regar la plantación.
Así, poco a poco se fue perfilando mi huerto. Sembré patilla o sandía y auyama o calabaza. Ají dulce, lechosa, pimentón, entre otras cosillas.

A finales del 2016 y los 3 primeros meses del 2017, la tierra agradecida, recompensó mis esfuerzos, dándome por la voluntad de Dios, frutos para comer.

La verdad, fueron de gran ayuda, ante la escasez de alimentos y de dinero.
No serían muy grandes estos frutos....pero fueron mi orgullo. Como si yo los hubiese parido.
Comimos y compartimos con la familia y los vecinos.
Para no cansarles mucho, les dejo una muestra de la maravilla que obra en la naturaleza cuando la amas y respetas.

I want to share with you certain achievements that, modestly, I have had, within a year.
In March of last year (2016), I set out to make a family garden.
I thought that sometimes time is wasted, the days go by and the routine tires you. So, I undertook my project.
On a piece of idle land, I fixed my aspirations
After preparing a compost, I composed the land and built my plot. With logs of date woods. I confess I felt dying dehydrated, since the heat last year was excessive. But I did not faint in my purpose.
So I started to collect the water that wasted air conditioners, my house and neighbors. I made collectors with bottles of drinking water.
Thus, little by little, my enterprise was outlined.
At the end of 2016 and the first 3 months of 2017, grateful land, rewarded my efforts, giving me God's will, fruits to eat.
Actually, they were very helpful, given the scarcity of food and money.
These fruits would not be very big .... but they were my pride. As if I had given birth to them.
We ate and shared with family and neighbors.
In order not to tire you many, I leave you a sample of the wonder that works in nature.
