Ésta cancion se llama 'lluvia' y es una composición inspirada en la ciudad de Mérida y una tarde lluviosa, por el compositor Luis Guillermo Sánchez 1913 - 1969, Luis guilermo Sánchez llamado el cantor del lago o de la lluvia, era un compositor Marabino (del estado Zulia) y se dedicó tanto a la musica culta como a la música popular.

This song is called 'rain' and is a composition inspired by the city of Merida and a rainy afternoon, by the composer Luis Guillermo Sánchez 1913 - 1969, L. A. Sánchez called the singer of the Lake or the rain, was a composer Marabino (the state of Maracaibo) and devoted to both academic music and popular music.

Fué un músico muy reconocido ganó innumerables concursos y nominaciones por sus composiciones y el recordado merengue Soy Venezolano es de su autoría, ésta canción lluvia participó en un concurso radial "El Zulia musical" (1948) organizado por la lotería del Zulia y el cantante escogido para interpretarlo ésa noche radial fué Alfredo Sadel quien le diera una dimensión universal a éste hermoso Vals- Canción y en efecto Sadel difundió ésta melodia en acetato y luego de eso cantantes nacionales, extrangeros e innumerables agrupaciones y orquestas así mismo lo hicieron dándole fama a ésta composición.
