Because spam is part of a community?
I doubt it.
I would even go further and say, cleaning spam and dirt is a job for the community,with the community, in the community.

I'm not sure you understand what these accounts are doing.

@dart has over 10,000 accounts and adding monthly. The gibberish accounts have a few thousand if they are not owned by @dart. @gordonramsay and that group of accounts are tricking users into sending them SBD and not upvoting their posts, or if they do, they are worth pennies not the big bucks promised. @bsc is a group of now 20 accounts that post more than 1000 automated posts a day total. They started with just a couple of accounts and before I knew it they had 10 then 20.

Most if not all of these accounts have one thing in common... They take the money and run. They aren't here to be part of the community.

They've withdrawn over $100k USD this year all from spam. They use free accounts that could have gone to 'real' users when signup has been slowed by manually approving accounts to try and prevent this.
