NEWS IN CATALONIA

A month has passed since the self-determination referendum that the Catalan people demanded from their government for 7 years and the Spanish state blocked by all means.

I make a temporary summary of how the events are happening until today:

Before October 1:

The Spanish state moves thousands of its military police to Catalonia. They are accommodated in the Piolin cruise ship moored in the port of Barcelona.

The Spanish state makes hundreds of records in printers, warehouses, public institutions in search of "ballots" and "ballot boxes" to prevent the referendum.

October 1, 2017:

All the polling stations wake up with the ballot boxes on their site, the ballots and the envelopes so that people can vote the question:
Do you want Catalonia to be an independent State in the form of a republic?

3 million people are going to vote YES or NO on the question, (the census is 5.5 million).
Leaving in the most absolute ridiculous the Spanish government. That reacts, with aggressions to the population with a total of 900 injured (women and grandmothers included).

700 thousand votes are seized by the military police, the rest more than 2.3 million are unable to stop them.
The counting of votes obtains 90% to the YES to the independence in the form of Republic.

October 3, 2017:

Catalonia is on strike to demonstrate for the aggressions suffered on October 1.

October 10, 2017:

The parliament of Catalonia is ready to declare independence.
A last-minute call from Donald Tusk to Carles Puigdemont reflects the Catalan parliament opening the door to dialogue with the Spanish state.

October 16, 2017:
Jordi Sánchez and Jordi Cuixart leaders of cultural associations and Catalan democrats are imprisoned by order of a judge.

October 19, 2017:
Jean-Claude Juncker, Antonio Tajani and Donald Tusk receive the Princess of Asturias Prize for the concourse ... from the King of Spain Felipe VI .... (LOL)

October 27, 2017:
The Republic of Catalonia is proclaimed

October 28, 2017:
The Spanish state intervenes in the parliament of Catalonia, its institutions and the legitimate offices elected by the citizens of Catalonia.

October 29, 2017:
The Spanish State imposes elections in Catalonia on December 21, 2017. At the same time start to "jail" all catalan independentist politics.

October 31, 2017:
Part of the government of Catalonia dawns in Brussels.

October 1, 2017:
Carles Puigdemont at a press conference from Brussels calls for calm to the citizens of Catalonia before the threats of the Spanish state.

October 2, 2017:
8 ministers of Catalonia are imprisoned without reason in Madrid. While Carles Puidemont stays in Brussels and hires a lawyer expert in human rights.

October 3, 2017:
9 Catalan politicians remain in jail and the Spanish government issues an international search and seizure order for Carles Puigdemont.

October 4, 2017:
250 thousand "new citizens" appear out of nowhere in the Catalan census. It seems that citizens residing in Spain are registering in Catalonia to be able to attend the elections on December 21st.

The government of Spain hires a new company in charge of counting votes. The company in INDRA (company dedicated to military technology and surveillance) which is currently being investigated for illegal financing to the PP party (the party currently presiding in Spain).

The situation is becoming untenable. Europe has not said anything until now, it will remain the same in the face of unjustified imprisonment????

As Juncker Luxemburges (500 thousand citizens) does Catalonia ignore a country with more than 7 million inhabitants?

The international judges, those from the Hague, those from the UN are going to condemn the unjustifiable actions of the Spanish judges without any doubt, what will happen then?

European citizens will continue to ignore Catalonia? ...surely their domestic problems are more important..., but when the breach of fascism is ignored history explodes us in the face.
