First Street Car in Space!

Today the company founded by Elon Musk, Space X launched the largest, most powerful rocket ever built! Its name is Falcon Heavy. The 27 engine rockey, consisting of three Falcon 9 rockets with a cargo capacity of around 141,000 pounds. It was an amazing launch, especially since there were cameras with live feeds watching each rocket, the car, the view and ground cams as well.

Space X prides themselves on the fact that each launch costs about 1/3 of a normal (NASA) launch because of the fact each rocket safely landed and re-used. Instead of the typical release the chute and land in the ocean. Here is a picture of one of the Stage 1 rockets re-landing after separation.

One of the most interesting parts of this un-manned mission is its payload. The middle, or main rocket carries Elon Musks personal Tesla Roadster, one of the first produced. Here is a picture of it inside the rocket.

Inside the car was a dummy wearing the famous Space X Space suit. Here is a picture of the car and dummy floating in space.
