India builds its first satellite in 1975 named as Aryabhata ( Indian mathematician )and was launched by the Soviet Union.
India builds its first launching vehicle in 1980 SLV -3 and A. P. J. Abdul Kalam was director of this project.
ISRO budget is 0.34% of Indian budget that is 1.4$ billion in 2017.
India is the first country to reach Mars orbit in its first attempt. The mission named as mangalyaan and the total cost for this project is 450 crore in.
