I seen the comet through my telescope from my back garden on the 16th when it was at its closest to us. I had to wait until after midnight when the moon had set so the sky was at its darkest. The comet was vey easy to spot in the night sky using very little magnification. What I can describe of what it looked like was just a faint green brur against the black night sky.
