Astronomers have approached understanding of structure of the Milky Way
It is curious that about a form and parameters of own galaxy we know even less, than about next. The matter is that unlike them the review of the Milky Way from outside is inaccessible to us. Only on indirect signs we can understand how our galaxy looks as sleeves what her exact form are located in it. To understanding of distances and the sizes we were brought closer by a research of Institute of radio astronomy of Max Planck in Germany.
