Robots will be engaged in the search for life on Enceladus

Orbital probe "Cassini" (a joint NASA creation of the European and Italian space agencies) is preparing to dive into Saturn in 2017. American scientists gathered at the conference to discuss a successor to the interplanetary station, which will be able to explore the geysers of Enceladus water - one of the Saturnian moons.

US researchers are preparing to dive and death orbiter "Cassini", a long period of time who studied Saturn. The device will pass through the gaseous envelope of the planet, probably dying in the process of landing. However, planetary scientists do not lose heart, intending to create a successor who will be able to study in detail the water geysers of Enceladus - one of the Saturnian moons.

When assembling the "Cassini" scientists were unaware of the existence of the open ice water emissions of Enceladus, so the station instruments are not adapted to the fence of this kind of samples, according to the portal In-space. Water and ice particles all 11 years of study of the satellite instruments are flooded "Cassini", a tiny hail from solid pieces of ice knocked particles of titanium orbital probe body, which prevented accurately determine the chemical composition of the geyser.

Future unit planned to build gold, which does not enter into a reaction with water. Among the projects planetologists - robots with drill bits, capable of collecting samples on Enceladus, and robotic modules that can throw on the surface of the Saturnian moon with a force of 50 thousand higher than the Earth's gravity. At the same time the options are considered from a robot that can melt the ice to get into the ocean of Enceladus.
