NASA Contest Ends August 15th
NASA is running a contest for the best 60-character message to beam into interstellar space on Sept. 5, 2017 -- the 40th anniversary of Voyager 1's launch. They are inviting the public to share short uplifting messages via social media that will then be voted on by the Voyager team and a public vote. One of these messages will be selected by NASA to beam into interstellar space!

Public Voting Begins August 23rd
Send out your own messages of inspiration using the hashtag #MessageToVoyager! Submission is due by August 15 and public voting begins August 23.
