RocketNews: Falcon Heavy static fired!

in #space7 years ago (edited)

Hey there,

Falcon Heavy SF

FH SF finally happened! (<--HQ video)
That was an epic roar we got to hear! That's how it sounds like, when 27 engines go full power.
By Elon Musk, SF was a success, and we might even get a launch only about one week from now, but let's wait for detailed analysis.
For a different angle of view, see spaceflightnow's video:
https://spaceflightnow.com/2018/01/24/watch-the-falcon-heavy-roar-to-life/ or

upcoming launches

Tomorrow, there are two scheduled launches, a Long March 2C will carry three Yaogan 30-04 military surveillance satellites to space,
and the Ariane 5 with SES 14 and Al Yah 3 on 22:20 UTC, as I wrote yesterday.
You can get a lot of infos in Arianespace subreddit:
https://www.reddit.com/r/Arianespace/comments/7siadj/rarianespace_ariane_flight_va241_ses14_al_yah_3/
A livestream is going to be aired via their website:
http://www.arianespace.com/mission/ariane-flight-va241/

That's that for today, read you tomorrow!
Stay assembled!
