Wow that's so cool. So you are saying that we must go faster than 10% of the speed of light to get to the closest star? Anything less would be like running in place or backwards? Are all Stars moving away from each other? Any moving towards each other?

Yes. Yes. Stars within a galaxy are moving away from each other, the galaxy is expanding. But one galaxy can absorb another galaxy, so the stars of these galaxies on the other hand will become closer to each other :)
