Space Junk Meteor Spotted!
As I was driving home from work tonight at about 10:35pm mountain time, I came around a bend and saw one of the coolest things I've ever seen. Something was slowly burning up in the atmosphere. Moving slowly across the sky. It was strange enough that it took my brain a few seconds to process what I was seeing. It almost looked like the laser beams from Starkiller base in the Force Awakens. I hopped on the twitterverse when I got home and it looks like people saw it all over the west - Nevada, Bay Area California, here in Utah where I was. It was so cool.
Meteor showers
The news is reporting that it was a CZ-7 booster rocket that burned up upon re-entry.
