SP-GROUP & SP-GROUP-UP: operational rules
I would like to inform you about some changes in the way we operate. Those rules will become effective within the next few days.
Our group is growing fast which is great but has some practical consequences. Until now all voted were cast manually but with the growing membership, it is not possible to continue manual voting and evaluation of each post published with #sp-group tag.
From the other hand, we don't want our members to miss votes due to them under current rules, but we still want to promote good quality content.
That's why the second group account @sp-group-up has been created and this account will be used exclusively to reward high-quality posts selected by our general curators and tag-custodians (those will be selected in the near future - for details follow forthcoming announcements by @sp-group-up).
Operational rules for both accounts (@sp-group & @sp-group-up) are as follows:
- @sp-group - account funded with voluntary delegations from SP-GROUP members/delegators will be used principally to support those who delegated steem power to this account, although any spare voting power may be used for supporting other authors and/or content.
Support to delegators will be provided by this account (in the form of votes) as follows:
Delegation 6-30 SP = 1 vote of 18% VP/24H
Delegation 31-100 SP = 1 vote of 35% VP/24H
Delegation 101-500 SP = 1 vote of 70% VP/24H
Delegation > 501 and more SP = 1 vote of 100% VP/24H
SP-GROUP Team members/active contributors are also entitled to receive 1 vote of 100% VP/24H

Voting from this account will be automated but we will verify the quality of voted content from time to time we reserve the right to expel from the group those who post low quality/spam/illegal content or commit plagiarism.
- @sp-group-up - account funded by voluntary delegations from all Steem community members and by profits generated from the @sp-group account. This account will be used exclusively for manual voting performed by dedicated curators and tag-custodians in order to support the content of the highest quality. All actions performed by those operating @sp-group-up account, will be fully transparent and reported on a weekly basis (in a similar way as we report our activities today - sample report is HERE).
