God's Eternal Covenant of Grace for His Elect by David Bishop
The gospel is the good news of why and what God did to save His elect from the just punishment for their sins. We cannot talk about God's love without talking about God's elect, because it is His elect who are the object of His love.
We cannot talk about the sacrificial death of Christ on the cross without talking about election either, because it is His elect who are the subject of His sacrifice and the reason why He died on the cross.
Nor can we talk about needing what only God can give without talking about election, because it is His elect ALONE who are the recipients of His free gift of salvation.
So why are there so many Calvinists out there who don't want to talk about election? And why are there so many Calvinists out there who accept the fellowship of those who either don't want to talk about election or who downright reject it?
Satan doesn't need to obscure the crucifixion from history in order to nullify your gospel. All he has to do instead is alter one or two truths about election in order to render the cross utterly ineffectual. With the cross rendered ineffectual, you are then reduced to attempts to justify yourself, which is exactly what he believes you both can do (if God would just stop interfering by judging as unjust what you decide is just for you).
For those who deny election either by rejecting it outright or by disguising it in terms they deem more appetizing, the issue comes down to this - the lie Satan told in the garden. Every man did what was right in his own eyes, because every man is as God.
Those people who reject election or who disguise it are doing what is right in their own eyes. After all, Lord, You don't understand, if I tell all these hurting people the truth about election, then they won't let me help them and I won't earn my assurance by helping them.
Election is a real thing. The idea that You are Elect and Others aren't is an error. Christ's sacrifice was a ransom for ALL. 1 Tim 5-6
Christ paid the penalty of death for all mankind:
Christ is the propitiation for the sins of the whole world:
Jesus' Himself said He will draw All men to Himself:
Jesus is the Savior of the World
Jesus died for ALL:
Justification is a free gift available to all:
This list could go on for days.

Scriptural propositions do not exist in a vaccuum. Scripture speaks in one accord. This is not the first time I have encountered this analogous carpet bombing of isolated verses or a couple as if to make an argument. It seems we need to consider that sometimes our commonly presupposed denotation of words in context are actually not in line with biblical truth.
Rest assured, I will handle each of the verses you mention to unmuddy the water so to speak. Christ did not die for all for this would mean there are people who will be condemned for sins for which His blood did atone.
This is not a just god and should be firmly rejected by they that love the truth of grace which is sovereignly administered through the mighty working of His power. The same power that rose Christ from the dead.
@anthonyadavisii I'm actually pretty sure where you're going with this "unmuddy the waters" thing, but go ahead if you'd like.
The question is, if the bible says Christ died for all, very clearly in several places in correct context, and you say it isn't so, then who isn't being true to the teachings of the Bible?
If you really want to go on for days rehashing a centuries old argument, then we can, but I really don't think its necessary. I know I'm not going to convince you because I've run into Calvinists before and you're more dedicated to your system than to seeking truth.
That's the problem with system, though. Once you think you have it all figured out then you stop learning. I really just posted to let others know that your bigoted and exclusive version of the gospel isn't the only game in town.
