Day 50
Today began with breakfast and then at 0700 we began our 4 x 4 course. Today was all theory, there is so much of it! We went through until brunch time (French toast, bacon, cheese, salad and fruit) and then had a couple of hours break.
At 1300 we began again and finished just before dinner. My brain is scrambled, wheelbases, engine types, brake systems, tyre pressures, how to understand what is written on a tyre, chassis, suspensions, drive trains, drive shafts and differentials just to name a few! We had a couple of quizzes to do as well.
Dinner today was spaghetti bolognese and salad and then it was time for showers and chilling out. Hopefully after practicing some of the 4 x 4 techniques over the coming week it will all make more sense and I will feel less baffled and lost!
