And to me it raises an important question. If Israeli Jews are colonial settlers because they're living on what was previously Palestinian Arab land, why were the Palestinian Arabs living in what one before was Israel not colonial settlers living on Jewish land?

Did enough generations pass to sanctify the Palestinian occupation? If so, how long do the Jews need to hold on before they gain legitimacy as the Palestinian Arabs did? A century? Five centuries? A millenium?
