Working forward

The work finished for the day
Stopping to graze away
The burdens and labors fading away
The night comes for us all
This one I pray just to fall deep asleep
Washing the weight far down some brae
May the work horse of this soul rest
Dreams flood thru the mind and chest
The heart and soul connecting in egest
Walking the other side, free, alive,
Rejuvenating oneself for the next morn
To again be saddle with all the burden born
For love, family, and the future pulling the yoke
In hopes that on day my soul will float
