Some misconceptions about Christmas

Christmas is almost near. And as well as our wrong thoughts about Christmas have awakened new ones. We know a lot about Christmas or Christmas and most of them are true. But that does not mean all. Over the years, this is the arrangement of misconceptions about Christmas or Christmas with us!

X 'means Jesus Christ

Many times we write Happy Christmas English, 'Happy Christmas' or 'Happy Xmas'. Why is 'X' used in Christmas spelling? Did not you have such a question in your childhood? Many people consider this as a sign of Jesus Christ. But the reality is quite different. The word Christmas is called in Christos (χριστος), whose spelling starts with a letter to look like X. And from there, Christmas has been spell-christened Xmas.

Christmas and Christianity have spread together in the world
Yes, Christmas and Christianity are related to each other. That does not mean that since Christianity began to spread on earth since then, it has been practiced since Christmas. Many people think that the pagan religion, festivals and holidays have all been replaced by all formalities of Christ religion. The truth is true, but not entirely. Christ's religion came into the world long before the birth of Jesus Christ. Many writers' opinions are found in this regard.

Everyone was worried about the death of someone's birth, and everyone was worried about it. So Christmas is celebrated before Easter days and like Good Friday. The issue of celebrating Jesus Christ in the year 200 came. In the Egyptian text, the date was May 20. By the middle of the fourth century, on December 25, Jesus Christ's birthday or Christmas began to be celebrated. And the arrival of the 17th century came to the present popularity.

Christmas is celebrated keeping the pagan festival in mind
Many people think that Christmas is celebrated on 25th December, in the day of Dakshina, on the occasion of Pagan religion festivals, that Pagans also can participate in the festival. History does not say that. Christian pagans did not want to make any festival during their festival time. Instead of trying to do as much as possible, stay away from the pagan religion. But in a time, gradually some issues of pagan culture came into Christianity. But it was not before 12th century. So, now the question is, why is the Christmas celebrated on 25th December?

If Pagan religion is not followed, then what is the reason for celebrating December 25? According to the Roman calendar, Jesus came to the womb on March 25th and was crucified on March 25th. And exactly nine months later it comes December 25th. Accounting is easy!

Many trees were cut in Christmas
We all take into consideration the fact that Christmas means to cut trees and decorate them. And so on Christmas, many trees will be cut and they will be arranged. Environment will be harmed. What is the matter? Not at all! On Christmas, two types of trees are used by humans. One is the original tree, the other is fake. Those who use the original tree, they want to celebrate Christmas well. And those who use fake claws, they want to keep the environment good. But is it any profit or loss? Not at all.
