Sony Corporation, in partnership with IBM, has developed a new educational platform that uses blocking technology to protect educational data and ease of sharing.
According to the Bitcoin Magazine, the contract was signed between Sony Global Education, a subsidiary of Sony and IBM, and is expected to be released next year.
School administrators, universities, and educational institutions can use this block-based learning platform to protect students' data and share them more confidently and provide relevant parties.
This platform, based on IBM Blockchain, is capable of brightening up the relationships between students and training centers and making the process of tracking the progress of individuals more easily possible.
IBM, with reference to the difficulty of examining student records, cited several reasons for this challenge, including "Online courses and attending overseas universities."
Pointing out that such non-traditional methods may mislead the personnel of the training centers, the technology giant says that the solution to the use of blockade technology is.
"Blocchin technology has the potential to expand in various industries," Masaaki Isozu, head of Sony Global Education, said in a statement, "Blockbuster technology is no exception. Educational data is stored securely in BlockChin and is shared among authorized users.
He also expressed his satisfaction with working with IBM, saying the platform could make real changes in the field of education.
The platform is powered by the Hyperledger Fabric 1.0 framework hosted by the Linux Foundation.
