Song Challenge Day 56 - A Song that can be Heard in a Cabriolet
DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince - Summertime
I will admit I had to look up what a cabriolet was. Turns out it's a car with a removable top. I would call it a convertible, or maybe a ragtop (i.e. "...put my ragtop down so my hair can blow...").
This is a consummate summer top down cruising song. At least if you were in high school in 1993. This is a guilty pleasure for me. There's some nostalgia wrapped up in here, so I wouldn't exactly say I like this song, but it definitely fits the category for me. So sit back, listen, and imagine you're cruising your neighborhood at 2 miles an hour, so everybody sees you.
