HTML Tables & Static Sticky Headers

in #softwaredevelopment6 years ago

So if you didn't know HTML a table can be created with
<table>
</table>

And as you add rows
<tr></tr>

There becomes the unsightly readability issues as you start working with larger datasets. A sticky Header, static or floating the header enables your users to scroll through the dataset but still have a sense of the data they are looking at. Pagination can also help but then finding data is not as easy as CTRL+F but the things we do for the end users. If you are building HTML Tables and want to bring some flare to your presentation, here are some examples on the topic to get you started. I hope you find it helpful!
