Clipdiary looks good, but for 15 years I used NoteTab, which allows you to set a document as a pasteboard. This means you can do copy after copy without pasting, then go to your doc and there it all is. Great for research.
NoteTab is the best text editor I have found on any platform; I truly wish it was available on Linux. @enchantedspirit uses it daily. There is a free version, but you'll probably want the Pro version soon.
