RE: Proposal: Refund 40K USD to make up for missing funds since 22.8888 - 원숭이도 나무에서 떨어진다

in #softfork2288885 years ago

Blockchains are immutable, that's why they fork to make changes. Bitcoin has forked multiple times. Eth has forked multiple times - famously, the sole purpose of one of those forks was to move funds. Steem has been forked many times and had it's data modified. Go read about blockchains. I'm sorry somebody told you wrong or you made false assumptions, but being ignorant of reality doesn't change reality

Sort:

But most Bitcoin "forks" was "soft forks" that don't break any rules.

Unless you mean fork like BCH. Yeah, there were some, but NO one modified the blockchain content

I'll ask you another question. Did you make that proposal on Hive? Maybe I'll support you there. There should be no difference

? no I made the proposal here obviously... It is just a lame joke proposal i made because the whole situation is ridiculously funny right :)

Oh, ok :D Living in Poland just in case you think that the effects of the crisis are real :D

PoW and PoS (DPoS is a type of PoS) work very differently. I know it makes you feel righteous to be ignorant, but I'll leave you with this final suggestion - GO READ

I see the theory coming up here. You're wrong, and unfortunately you can see it.

But if you recognize that Hive has the right to censor people in the name of the "higher good" - you have to acknowledge that Steem has that right too.

I've never acknowledged any such thing. Now you're making stuff up to justify ignorance? You really think that will increase your understanding of blockchain tech?
Look, you're a person. I understand that you'll feel bad sometimes. Just because somebody feels bad doesn't mean a wrong has been committed. Nowhere in the designer's writings or in mine will you find anything about "censoring for the higher good". Complete strawman and in no way connected to what defines an attack in DPoS or what actions are required to mitigate an attack

I think this revolutionary approach to blockchain as something unimportant is an interesting test for the crypto networks.

That's funny. Coming from the fact that Steemit Inc has declared they have the right to censor accounts in the name of the "higher good".

While many on Hive flag and the posts are hidden they are not erased from hive.blog.

So you recognize Steemit's right to censor as "just" and "right". ROFL
