Examined Life As An Antidote To Contemporary Social Decay

One of the existential issues that have plagued mankind for centuries is the problem of social decay. By social decay one means economic, socio-political and moral tribulations. Social decay is characterized by high rate of corruption,moral decadence and all sorts of exploitation. Nigerians have continued to experience a general downward growth in their national life.
There is ever-threatening general insecurity of life and property, social dislocation and instability occasioned by the activities of militant pressure groups from different parts of the country and religious fundamentalists especially in the North who appear to have resolved to make human life nasty, Brutish and short. Our leaders are not helping matters either. They loot the national wealth while the masses wallow in abject poverty and penury.
This problems has provoked social discussions. The solution to contemporary social decay, is preferring Socrates maxim "an unexamined life is noth worth living" it is by imbibing the principles of good life proposed by Socrates that this country can retrieve further social,economic,political and moral degerations.
