RE: Is A Nuclear Family Of 3+ Even Fucking Healthy or NORMAL?
I've thought about this a lot. We're so connected electronically, and yet somehow we've been driven to live lives that are isolated and lonely, in the belief that it's our right as "individuals" somehow.
Camille Paglia talks in her videos about how the old-school European families maintain their roles and culture, even doing things as simple as going to the park in huge numbers to spend a day together. And yet most Americans just sneer at these more traditional arrangements.
And they're the ones most content, happy, and probably live longer with less rates of mental illness. Thanks for sharing!
