Selfish Red Roses

I can see this quote being interpreted in different ways if you wish to able it to society as you see it today. I see it as follows:

The politically correct, the social justice activists, the pampered and coddled youth, the ultra conservative right, the radical wannabe revolutionary left. They are all selfish. We are living in a chaotic time of extremes and they are all selfish bastards.
