Discrimination is real for many filipino LGBTs
this topic is about hows many filipinos think about lgbt in community.
while in high school, my orgmate attended a paerty his professor, who also in the party, got drunk and he was then harassed, hit with a bottle, spat on, and even stuffed lego brick in his anus.. they filed a case. however, the authorities laught it off and didnt take it seriously, eventually they gave up and didnt pursue the case. because in the philippines most people thinks that being gay, lesbian is a joke. every mistake is met with verbal and physical abuse,they assumed that transgender woman is automatically a bad person. and beacause who practice homosexuality is a detestable sin. i dont know why people using god words to judge other's life..i was offended for my friend becase for me its very demoralixing and degrading. most gays lesbian in the ph didnt accept by thier family if his family cannot understand him, its likely that his community will not understand him too i hope that one day, the lgbt community will be accepted and people will be open minded provide support fot the lgbt and allow them freedom...
