Steemit last month had just over 12 thousand. That is 83,333 times more users on Facebook per month than Steemit. If you ask anybody on Steemit which social media platform is "better", I think you know what answer you will get. Yea sure this particular "flagship" front-end could use stuff like, groups, pages , discussion boards and a Steemit ad program where you can buy ads like Facebook plus all the bells and whistles but not only is that being worked on , other front ends are beginning to interface with Steem's blockchain.

We have nothing but room to grow and thousands of satisfied users. The biggest complaint on Steemit is not being given enough STEEM... Think about that for a second... Demand is strong, so strong people get upset sometimes when they don't get all the STEEM they feel a post deserved... Most people are not cashing out, They are not doing this for the money, well at least not the money at today's prices. They are blogging here for the STEEM. Even those of us who turn some in to Bitcoin come back to STEEM when it is profitable. If you have a basket of currencies you trade. STEEM deserves to be in that basket somewhere. Only being traded on one exchange with any real volume is helping the STEEM price stay low but let the volume pick up on Poloniex or STEEM pop up on another big exchange and get some volume.
