4 Self-Care Steps When Social Media Feels Like A Burden
Social media takes a lot of time out of our lives. Sometimes over use of social media can lead to social media feeling like a burden.
Declutter Apps You Don’t Use
Apps you never use delete them. Deleting apps you never use will also save phone/tablet storage. If you use an app rarely delete the app then reinstall the app when you need it again, repeat this process. Decluttering your phone or tablet has mental benefits for your mind.
- Block People
Block people when you don’t like what they post or their posts have no relevance to you. The person may know you blocked them but you can always use an excuse which is “i don’t know how you got blocked.” You should also block people who you never see or speak too. Once again they may know you blocked them although, if they never talk to you or see you I doubt they will know you have blocked them.
- Do Activities Instead Of Using Social Media
Participate in some self-care activities besides using social media. In many people’s lives social media can take up a lot of time in their lives. Participating in activities will be a lot healthier for you rather then cruising your social media feeds or worrying about posting your next photo on Instagram.
- Take A Break From Social Media & Get Things Done
Take a break from social media and accomplish things that have to be done in your life. You could handle something in your life that has not been done or do home chores. Taking a break gives you a chance to handle things in your life or take care of home chores. Social Media takes a lot of time out of many people’s lives.
