In Sociology,Socialization is the process of internalizing the norms and ideology of Society. Socialization Encompasesa both Learning and teaching and is 'thus' the means by which social and cultural continuity are attained.Socialization essentially represent the whole process or learning throughout the life course and is a central influences on the behavior, beliefs and actions or adult as well as of children.
Socialization may lead to desirable outcomes. Sometimes labeled moral as regards the Society where it occurs. Individual views are influenced by the Society's Consensus and Usually tend toward what that society finds acceptable or normal. Socialization provides only a partial explanation for human benefit and behaviors, maintaining that agents are not blank slaves predetermined by their environment.

The principle agents in the Socialization process are other persons, most notably the child's Parent and his siblings, teachers, playmates and others who are Significant to him. There are also the mass media which include the Television, Radio, Cinema, News paper, Magazine, Journals, Books and other Literature.

  Parent are the most important Socializing agents for the child at the very early stages of his development. They together with the child's Siblings forum the only significant group or whom he depend physically and phychologically. As a representative of the large society the family is the place where behavioral pattern, values the norms.

  SCHOOLS
  Schools is the fundamental basis of learning where individual learn the basic concept of life. This is the center of socialization where different skills of socialization are attain in full length.

  PEER GROUP
  A children grow older they tend to spend much more time in the company of their peers than they would with their peers than they would with their parent. School age children who typically spend the most part of their day or indeed the greater part of their school year in School are also caught up in some peer circles.

  CONCLUSION
  SOCIALIZATION is the process by which different individuals are prepared to play many different and varied roles and interact in such as way that the interrelated individuals and groups can function as a whole.
