The Lesson Of Argentina: You Can’t Stabilize A Bankrupt Economy

Argentina is a lesson for the rest of the world.

In 2016, America inserted the "party of smaller government". In return, it received trillions of dollars more in debt with deficits extending past $1 trillion. The Republicans spent in a manner that rivals the most ardent socialist.

Argentina is on the brink of collapse. It has runaway inflation and is turning political rivals into the same person. Both candidates are simply trying to outspend each other as a means to vicotry.

Economies that are bankrupt cannot be saved through financial engineering. This is something that few politicians, on either the right or left, will admit.
