Facebook has returned again after a drop of 8 o'clock yesterday - but the problems with Instagram and WhatsApp are still ongoing for some users.

Hundreds of thousands of users around the world could not get on Facebook from 17:00 yesterday after the problems the social network began to show, writes Gazeta Express.

Facebook, Instagram and Messenger were the first to fall from the system in the major states of the world, the US and Europe, along with parts of South America.

WhatsApp - which is owned by Facebook - is also affected by this problem, though not so much as other apps. After confirming the problems with the social network, Facebook dismissed speculations that the site might have been attacked by hackers.

Social network users turned to Twitter to complain about the Facebook problem, finding out later that not only Facebook but also Instagram had fallen.

More than a third of Facebook users could no longer enter the social network, others said they did not show anything on the New Page. Similarly, it happened with Messenger at the same time.

Instagram users reported that they could not update the news page, add stories or photos and videos. In Messenger, many users were not able to connect to the server at all and report that no message is coming to them.
